eclipse-mylyn-versions-cvs software package provides Mylyn version control integration for CVS, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eclipse-mylyn-versions-cvs
eclipse-mylyn-versions-cvs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eclipse-mylyn-versions-cvs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eclipse-mylyn-versions-cvs *
You will get with eclipse-mylyn-versions-cvs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
